Lifecycle modules:
- i-LiKe Base Platform (Lifecycle Traceability): this module can manage product traceability using the most diffused standards and/or being interfaced to third party systems. This module can be exploited at best if connected to Barcodes and RfID systems.
- i-LiKe Interoperability (Other Systems data exchange): this module was designed to manage interfaces between Holonix platform and third party systems (ERP Enterprise Resource Management, CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management System, etc.).
- i-LiKe Intelligence (Product Embedded Intelligent): enables use of embedded intelligent systems through specific hardware (RfID, active RfID, On board computers, Wireless PLC, Active Sensors).
Holonix can develop dedicated software and integrate it in the architecture based on customer's choice. - i-LiKe Understanding (Ontology Analysis): this module will apply ontological engines to enable analysis of unstructured data such as texts, maintenance reports, customers feedback etc. Ontological engines allow to read and to interpret different information sources such as company databases or maintenance databases to store and systematize company knowledge, forum and websites to analyze data from consumers. This module will be developed in partnership with a leading player in ontological systems.
- i-LiKe Knowledge (Knowledge management): this module will be developed in the next months with the objective of integrating cloud/wiki technologies in Holonix solutions to enable intelligent product lifecycle management.
Phase-specific modules:
- i-LiKe Design: this module will give designer a complete view of product lifecycle – i.e. typical use, production/manufacturing cost, failures and maintenance statistics (MTTF, MTBF) – using data from Middle and End of life of previous items.
- i-LiKe – Sustainability (LCC and LCA Evaluation and Optimization): this module should be used along with the previous one. It will provide tools for quick estimation of Lifecycle Cost or Life Cycle Assessment and algorithms to optimize them.
- i-LiKe Production: this module allows the possibility to control item production directly in all phases. It will be also interfaced to planning and optimizing systems in order to improve performances of production processes.
- i-LiKe Warehousing: this module can manage items in stock registering data such as location, serial number, batch number, expiry date. It allows to trace both single items or pallets/stock units.
- i-LiKe Delivering: this module is focused on delivery/shipment management. It can trace deliveries, register already performed missions and close documents at customer site – through a specific form that can be signed on a PDA terminal. The system can also trace containers and returns (e.g. boxes, drums, pallets, carboys) while shipping and collecting through barcodes on single items.
- i-LiKe Maintenance: this module will predict failures based on item history thus enabling predictive maintenance.
- i-LiKe Fleets: this module will support company flees management and maintenance; it will be possible to use also data from i-Like Maintenance module to plan maintenance campaigns.
- i-LiKe Users: it will enable interaction with final product users during Middle of Life; it will also allow anti-counterfeit actions thanks to the synergy with traceability module.
- i-LiKe Reusing and Recycling: this module will be able to calculate residual life of components and will provide a list of components to be re-used, re-manufactured or disposed. This module will be realized as outcome of an European Research Project Holonix is participating in.
- i-LiKe Disposing: this module gives complete visibility of design data in order to optimize dismantling and disposing activities. This module will be realized as outcome of an European Research Project Holonix is participating in.
